volvo 275 Trim Sender Location

been looking all over the place, my engine compartment is really covered, and i have to flashlight and bend in bad ways to see the top of my engine...

i have a trim gauge, and its the only one that does not work... i know the senders go bad, but this boat has SUPER low hours, and im sure its cleanable..

any opinions or ideas!

Never heard of a 275 with trim. Sure you don't have a 270T or 280T drive? Perhaps some pictures?

yeah it says volvo 275 on the outboard, but i have a stock trim gauge on the dash... but it no works... i have a big ol grey wire with a weird end on it, like a push button not hooked up to anything under the dash, but it dosnt go to anything... it comes out of the black box on top on the tilt motor... ill post pics tomorrow...

still trying to figure out what the deal is, i have a stock volvo trim gauge, and ive read some posts about a sender, but no luck for location or parts... my stock harness has a white / purple wire that goes to the trim gauge, but cant find out where the trim wires go to on my 275. i would just like to know where the heck my outdrive is in some places where i troll around for the big fish... anyhow, the onlything i can see on the baot is where the trim wire goes to.... any help would ROCK!

the 275 outdrive never had power trim.
can ya post some pictures of the drive and shield ?
however the 275 upper housing will fit on the 280 and 290 drives.

i can post em up soon, its raining here now... crap!!! anyhow, i know theres no trim on this unit, i just would like to have a warning light or something to let me know when the drive isnt down...

There already is a light. If you have the round tilt switch with the yellow light on top, if the light is on, the drive is not in the full down position for running.

does that light controlled with the big grey wire coming from the control box?? theres 3 wires in there and one is cut off...
