Volvo 4.3 GL-E cranks but won't start

I have a Glastron GX185 with a Volvo 4.3 GL-E that ran perfectly for awhile, then speed dropped from 47 to 41. Now the boat won't start at all. It ran on ether for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then cut out, didn't rumble, just died. It's getting fuel to the carb, any ideas?

Check for 12V on the purple wire at the coil with key ON

If 12V is present, check for spark at a couple of the plugs when motor is cranking
