Hi,

I just put my boat back in the water for spring. I fill both tanks and put in.
The starboard engine starter then began sputting and die. A friend who is a car mechnic looked at it. he put a fuel pressure gauge on the engine that was wronging and got about 72 psi of pressure then try the other and only got 18 psi of pressure. we replace the high pressure fuel pump and we now have 50 psi of pressure however the engine run for 7-10 minute then sputters and whine then dies. Does anyone have any other Idea on what to check

check the low pressure outlet if the low pressure is bad the high pressure cannot work.
the high pressure side sounds like its fuel starving or overheating.
blow through the seawater line and make sure they are not clogged.
if your running E fuels the VST tanks were painted and we are seeing the paint dissolve and mess up fuel systems.
on the engine with 72 PSI remove and clean the regulator screen.

Thanks,

Is e fuel short for ethanaol? and is 72 psi where both engines should be or should it be higher?

You should see 8psi ? 4 on the low pressure side, and 50 - 60psi on the high pressure side.
Yes, E stands for ethanol.

Be sure to check out the items rodbolt mentioned.

This may be a dump question. But where is the seawater line and best way to check it and blow through it?

Thanks
