Engine is a 5.7GS in 2000 Monterey 240. Engine runs great- no issues with starting or performance. Engine isn't burning oil. Oil still looks close to new (color) after 10 hours since change. Oil presuure reading is erratic- sometimes pressure drops as engine RPMs increase which seems odd. Max oil pressure reading is 40 with min at 10. Oil pressure does not appear to coincide with engine rpm. Should I try a different sending unit or guage? Is oil sender on Volvo 5.7 same as any other Chevy 350 or do Faria guages require a specific sending unit?
