The manual was a bit confusing saying i can run 15w-50 or 20w-50.

What oil is recommended for 50-100 F. Also what oil filter does it take?

Ayuh,..... Neither oil weight will hurt it, use whatever ya care too,......

Is the filter block mounted, or remote mounted,..??

block mounted. Im running a FL1A Motocraft filter and Mobile 1 advanced 15w-50. I have never been a mobile guy, but have alway heard good things about it. Its the 50 weight that throws me, seems thick, but i understand why.
