Volvo AQ131a--expensive dist cap.

These screw-down caps seem way expensive. Volvo list is over $80 and I haven't seen them elsewhere for less than $50 or so. Normal Bosch clip-on cap costs $5-10.

Has anybody found a solution to this? There are a few Bosch automotive screw-on caps, such as:

and Bosch 03380 (?).

Does anybody know if these fit or can be made to fit?

Obviously these aren't a direct replacement as they have male wire terminals. And they aren't cheap either, but can apparently be found on line for a few bucks. They fit quite a few Porsches and Volvos. Am just wondering if they fit....

i had to blow 67 bucks at volvo, my guy hooked me up at his cost for the cap... its just plain rediculous for these parts... its seeming like its cheaper to put a whole new engine in there... my exhaust flapper broke, 275 bucks for the piece... 88 bucks for the exhaust bellow... my dad is in injection molding and rubber injection, and he said for most plastic parts on cars and motorcycles, they usually cost around 4-6 cents in plastic, but the mold is whats expensive... i told him how much the flapper was, he almost had a heart attack...
