That’s the idea…… hoping to identify the locking nut brand so I can REMOVE the locking nutFirst thing I would do is get rid of that locking nut and put on a regular nut.
Nice I guess the prop lock is only to keep the honest criminals away...This shows what a waste prop locks are, screwdriver, hammer and vice grips.
That's exactly what I would do.I normally weld the outer sleeve to the inner section on the locks, then weld a nut to the top of the sleeve then use a wrench to remove
I have done about 30 wheels like that, however only 2 propsScrew drivers and vice grips didn't even budge the bolt so I ended up having to TIG a nut onto the recessed locking bolt. It’s out
