Removed props and both have holes on the inside in various places, looks like its a casting fault, tried to upload pictures but coming up unknown error ?

Can’t see pics but it would be very unusual for the VP stainless props (or any good stainless prop) to suffer from corrosion. Usually your anodes and then the actual drive would corrode way before they did. The physics of the galvanic scale would agree.
