Volvo exhaust pipe

I have part numbers and was wondering if some one can tell me the difference.
One is 3858872(supersedes 3855281) exhaust pipe kit. cost about 320.00
The other is 3851000 exhaust pipe cost about 900.00

My question is what is the difference and which one is the Y pipe only?
I want to replace the Y pipe only since my old one, 1996, is looking a bit pitted and I have the engine out now.

The drive is a DP-s drive duo prop. The engine is a PHURFL ford 351
The numbers given previous are from the parts catalog.
I will look today for more numbers if this does not help.

Unless these are just "stock" photos for each listing, it looks like there is a distinct difference in the width apart, shape, and rise of the two pipes.
You could either give VP a call to see if they can tell you something the on-line parts locator doesn't. Or match up what you have to the photos and make sure who you are ordering from has a good return policy.
