Volvo Outdrive

I have an AQ231 engine but I'm not sure what the outdrive is. When I bought the boat the shift cover on the outdrive was missing. Is there another way to tell which outdrive it is other than the decals on the missing cover?

Should be a tag on the upper gear box of the drive. Just below where the steering helmet attaches.

After seeing that tag I see that it's a 285. I'm starting to like this money pit...ha
