Just bought a 1993 Wellcraft with a 1992 Volvo Penta 230A. When I bought it hte guy said it was winterized so I didn't hear it run. I fired it up today after a tune up and it purrs like a kitten, but the temp gauge is reading around 210.Is there anything special I need to do to unwinterize my boat that might be causing this?x

Probably due for a new impeller.
One other thing, when on muffs, be sure to plug the secondary pickup hole in the bottom of the drive. It lets more water get to the engine. And make sure you have plenty of water to the muffs.

OK, thanks Don I will try that. I was just making sure that there wasn't a closed valve or something not allowing the water in. Ill swap it out and reply to let you know if that takes care of it.
