i have a 17 foot arrow glass v hull ski/fish VP AQ131A motor, 120-130HP, 14x17 LH prop, and ive broken 2 of em in the last 2 trips... im maxed at 5K-5100 rpm at 30MPH, which is a little high for my liking... what is the best or high performance option for me... i like the VP props... i tried the pirahna 15x19 prop, and got the same performance out of it with a huge loss in low end... i would like to get the fastest top end as possible, since i use this as a fishing boat, and im going to start fishing tournaments...

i would like to have the highest performance prop available, im thinking 14x19 is going to be the right size... or maybe 13x21... also, can i go to a RH prop??? theres no options for LH rotation...

Yes, you can switch to a RH prop. Just need to switch your shift linkage on the outdrive so your throttle control works correctly. Easy switch.

I've been running the Solas aluminum props lately since I boat in shallow lakes and can't seem to keep the prop from hitting things. the VP props are nice but spendy...

14x19 may get you a little more speed, but you'll have to try it and see.

Good Luck!

A 19 pitch would probably accomplish both the reduction in RPM and a little more top end speed.

Try a solas in a four blade 18..Better all around perfromance at a 1-3 mph loss at WOT...which you should spend very little time at...
