2004 VOLVO PENTA 5.0 GXI-E inboard

Engine suddenly stalled after 10 minutes of running at 3000 rpm

Motor hours engine only 62.

Already done:
replaced - IAC sensor, Map sensor, fuel pump, distributor, ignition wires, ignition module.

Problem appeared after about 10 (15) minutes of running at 3000 rpm on water. After approximately 20 minutes the engine starts again. Then stops again after 10 minutes.

Diagnostic computer shows IAC sensor, it was changed, problem stay.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

What are you using to diagnose?

Sounds like something is heating up
I don't know. I dont have any diagnostic software. The mechanic from Marina told me. This problem was before I go there, he told is't IAC - change. He chek in the garage - work. We go to the water, 10 minutes - stop. So even with this new sensor problem stays.

Aftre we back home , around 1 hour the boat work in the garage (with water connection) and didn't stop.

Need to get the motor scanned for codes
Rinda makes the scanner to be able to scan motor

Without a scanner we will be just guessing.

Could be a bad connection even something simple like the ignition switch or other bad connection

Thank you. What scanner do you suggest to buy. Only Rinda or something else?

The problem was found - the crankshaft sensor was sending incorrect information to the ECM. ECM was heating up and shutting down the engine.
