I don't know how many runs these engines anymore, but I would still like to show a little update I have made. The original carb linkage for the triple Solex setup was, in my eyes, not the best solution. A little difficult to synchronize the carbs perfectly. So I have made my own system.

Idle adjusting screw (hexagon head). The original idle screws on each carb has been removed.

The cable is attached to the rear end.

With the flame arrestor installed, hard to see any difference.

Conclusion: Took some time to fabricate the parts, but it was worth it. Precise synchronizing is much easier now, and one idle screw is better than three. It is off course still necessary to adjust idle mixture on each carb.
