First boat...86 Bayliner Capri with aq131a/275, trying to get it started for the first time since '09. Fuel is fresh. Problem is, Im not getting any fuel to the carb and as far as I can tell Im not even getting fuel to the pump. Is this most likely the fuel filter/water separater? Maybe even the pump, which is the conventional mechanical type? Or is there something else I should be looking at? Motor seems to be running o.k. when putting fuel down the carb by hand but no matter how many times Ive done this, I cant get any fuel flow.

Well...took the hose off the outlet side of the fuel filter that leads to the fuel pump, cranked the motor and Im not feeling any suction from the pump whatsoever. I reckon it needs replaced. Its the old conventional mechanical type pump...is there any trick to replacing it or is it practically straight-forward?
