First off I woudl like to say hi to everyone, im new here. Any way, Last week I was out on the lake and I killed the battery. So i tried to jump the battery with a battery pack but had to luck so I was towed in. The next day I threw the battery on a charger and charged it up. Hooked everything back up and went out on the lake yesterday. As i turn the key on there is a beep....beep....beep. The beep stays even when the motor is started and running. Checked the oil, oil is good, checked the lower unit, also good. Checked fuses under my dash also good. Check my gauges as we were driving and everything was normal. Not running hot. I was a little low on trim fluid but I topped it off and it is still beeping. Any and all idea will be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

How's your oil pressure?
Did a wire get pulled off somewhere?

Oil pressure was normal at 40 and all wires were checked and good.

Are you sure it's an engine alarm? On those engines the alarm is for 3 things. Low oil pressure, high coolant temp, and on some models, hight exhaust manifold temp. They they are all a constant alarm, not an intermittant Beep, beep, beep.

Ok, a couple silly questions perhaps, but I'll ask just to eliminate them:

Do you have a depth finder as part of original equipment and is it beeping to warn of a preset shallow depth?

I am assuming your not low on fuel? My boat beeps when the fuel gets down to a certain point and then won't stop, yes it happened once, and once you have to listen to that, you never let it get that low again.

Mine also beeps when the oil pressure is low, but that was already covered.

Took it in today and the Mechanic found the problem. My temp sensors broke off some how! So now we are looking for the sensors cause they dont make a aftermarket one. Thanks everyone
