Volvo Penta Engine Repair Stand

I have removed my engine, Volvo Penta 5.0 Gxi B(F), from the boat and it is sitting on wood blocks. My repair manual does not go into how to mount onto an engine stand. Do I remove the flywheel housing and then use the holes to mount to the engine stand? Any recommendation would be great. Photo attached.

Take off the housing and the stand bolts to the motor using 4 or more of the flywheel cover bolt/holes. You may need to purchase some longer bolts.

Get the biggest engine stand you can afford. Stay away from cheep stands
