Volvo SX-M - Leaking Trim Hose Fitting

My 2004 Volvo SX-M Outdrive Serial-4202054754 has a trim hose that seems to be leaking where the metal tubing meets the threaded nut portion. I have tightened the nut but it hasn't fixed the leak.

Are there ferrules on the bottom of these fittings or are they flared? If the hose has to be replaced then I guess the helmet (pivot) assembly has to be removed to access the nut portion that screws into the transom shield?
Its the lower hose on the port side, anyone have a part number?

Is it ok to leave the skeg off of the floor all the time which would keep some pressure in the trim cylinders due to the weight of the drive? I've done it this way so that when I'm climbing in and out of the boat the skeg isn't pressing up against the cylinders.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Might want to take it apart and replace the o-ring.
Part number is 3852165 a little over $1.00
Good Luck Muc

Thanks for the part number, my local Volvo dealer couldn't find the part on their online parts look-up (I couldn't either) but did have that o-ring in stock. I'll find out tomorrow if that fixes the leak.

Is it stressful on the trim system to leave the outdrive just off the floor? Seems like driving the boat would put much more pressure on it but I guess its only for short times though.
