Volvo to mercruiser exhaust question

Alright I probably will get the 5th degree with this question. I have a chevy 350 that came out of a volvo penta boat. I am rebuilding this motor for a Mercruiser install. Got to looking around and realized that the exhaust manifold and riser are different between Volvo and Merc. The manifold and riser are Barr marine. Riser part number is 20-0082. My question i this, Can I adapt the Volvo exhausts to Mercruiser Y pipes? I really do not want to have to buy a complete exhaust setup for $700- 900.

If you can build custom headers from scratch then i'm sure you can customize a water cooled exhaust system that will work.
