Any real differences in these two drives? My big questions are Maintenance and Parts/Filter costs, assuming that longevity is the same on both?? Thanks
At least in my part of the world Mercruiser parts are way more common as well as expertise to work on them. There's nothing wrong with the Volvo drives that I know of but you will find parts availability MUCH better for the Merc.
