i painted my outdrive with spray on antifouling paint ( clear color) last august and had my boat in slip for 1 month b-4 putting on trailer for winter, when i took boat out of water the outdrive was spotless, no barnicles or fish eggs (sea grapes), the boat was only in for 1 month so i didnt paint the outdrive this season, the boat was put in water in mid june and today i noticed the outdrive has fish eggs all over it, not sure if there are any barnicles, im going to try to tilt outdrive and brush them off tuesday after work but my question is does the antifouling spray paint prevent the fisheggs from forming on the outdrive or should i have painted it again this year, is there a better product to paint on outdrive, the hull is clean, also if i brush off the eggs should i still apply another coat of paint, the marina im at doesnt allow any bottom paint scraped in their yard so im trying to prevent pulling the boat out but if i have to i will, also last week i was checking the outdrive and didnt notice anything on it, could this happen in a week or did i just not see it, im in connecticut and the water is very warm here due nto the high temperatures, any suggestions, also i only use the boat on weekends so it sits idle all week
