EVC is an incredibly expensive upgrade. Last time I checked for a customer was years age and while I don't remember the exact price it was over $10,000
Ask your dealer about "Easy Connect" it's pretty reasonably priced.

Hi all - was out today and got the engine alarm (3 beeps) and yellow warning indicator. I didn't realize I had trimmed up the drive significantly in a rough channel, as such believe it may triggered the alarm. Temp, Pressure, etc all ok. Docked to assess and all looked ok. Upon departing noticed the drive trimmed way too high and think that may have caused the alarm/warning. I trimmed down and no alarm, but engine warning indicator still illuminated. Also, rev limiter triggered so can't go above 3K rpm. Got boat back to my marina and wondering if a way to reset the warning indicator or do I need a tech to address? Pretty sure I know the cause and it must have triggered some kind of emission fault or something. Engine is 2019 with 120 hours. Overall runs great, and had no issues getting back to marina, although only dong about 10 knots. I heard the MIL may reset after 3 successful trips/outings? Would a battery disconnect also prompt a reset? Appreciate any advice! Thanks.
Maybe something, maybe nothing. The guy that winterized my 2020 Regal 20 Express with 350 Volvo Penta Duo prop, placed a plastic bag over the engine air intake and didn't tell me. Within 50 feet of backing off the trailer this year there was all kinds of alarms going off. I handled a couple of the alarms by just removing the bag, but one 3-Beep alarm persisted for several man hours over a 3 day period of hunting for the issue. Solution: While I had the Garmin laying out on the dash I "think" (1.)I may have tightened the power cable a bit, But also my Lawyer son in law came up with an idea. He said why not do a (2.) reboot of the entire boat. Not just the Power Switches. So I disconnected the batteries altogether. Between the possibly loose power cable or the reboot, the Alarm finally went away. P.S. neither the Regal dealer I bought the 1 year old used boat from out on Long Island, or Regal directly, or the local Cape Cod dealer (who had no interest in helping me) or Volvo Penta directly, and several smart people at the dock, nobody suggested removing the cables from the batteries. Or was it the Garmin and a loose cable! I don't care. The boat is Awesome and much better built that any of my previous 3 Searay's.

Hi all - was out today and noticed trim gauge was fluctuating between full down and midway while underway doing about 30 knots. Everything seemed fine and wake indicated I was getting good bite. Was planning to have it checked but on way back to marina after about 25 mins engine alarm went off and engine light went on. Dropped RPMs and alarm stopped. Got back to marina at about 9 knots, when tried to give more throttle alarm would sound. Temp, pressure, volts all ok. Just had new batteries installed too. Submitted a work order to the marina to pull the codes and check the trim sitaution. Not sure that would have caused a fault, but thinking something is up as probably not the gauge itself. Interested in any advice.

Tx!

There are only a few things that will trigger RPM reduction. Trim isn’t one of them. The yellow warning light only comes on with an emissions fault. The engine needs to be scanned. Continuing to operate it could cause expensive failure.

Thanks. Hoping to have scanned today/tomorrow. Last issue showed 3 misfire codes and and 1 EVC code. They were cleared, but ran into alarm/fault issue again last weekend under time running at higher rpm.
