So I did a search on here and THT and can't find anything regarding my situation. I have dual 5.7 GXi-D engines on my 2003 cruisers 3275. The power steering for the boat is driven off of the starboard engine with the ram driving both drives via a tie-bar. The port engine is identical in that it has a PS pump with lines to a cooler but it just makes a closed loop through the cooler and back to the pump (it doesn't actually do anything - just recircs). The port PS cooler has developed a leak and rather than replace it I would just like to get rid of this setup all together on this engine. Is this possible? Is there a "pulley" I can purchase to replace the pump or is there a different belt and routing I can use to bypass the pump? Thanks for any help on this in advance.
