looking at a 96 chris craft concept with cuddy cabin (23 foot). Was curious about the outdrive and the engine. Moto is a 5.8 fsi Volvo Penta paired with a VP duo prop drive. Im not sure what the fsi means...and i believe the advantage of duo propped drives is that it provides better hole shot and steering, but not sure.

any help would be appreciated as im going to look at this boat tomorrow. (guy is asking 10k includes trailer, so not sure what kinda deal that is)

You won't find a better drive than the Volvo DP. The FSi indicates it's an fuel injected Ford engine. They aren't used anymore, and haven't been since the mid 90's. So far, not a problem with parts availability.

thanks DOn for the fast reply. are there any performance issues with the motor or the EFI setup? And do you think there are any concerns with being underpowered? thanks again.
