VP impeller replacement

Looking for a fast and reliable source for an impeller kit for '85 VP AQ125A. I'm not sure what the part number is (875575 ??) which tells you how long it's been since replaced - once since new and it's still working fine now, but...

As I recall it was not a difficult job -- a couple of bolts, remove & replace the impeller, clean the gasket surface and replace, put a sealant on it -- about a 30 min. job, I think.

I would appreciate information on the part number and any recommendations on where I can get it pretty quick -- vacation in a week! Also, is there any real quality difference between a VP impeller and after-market impeller, quality-wise? Other perspectives?

Many thanks!

Re: VP impeller replacement

You can order it from the top of this forum page. There great to deal with I ordered some parts and had the in a few days cost a bit more on shipping but I was in a hurry. The impeller is very easy to replace just take your time. Rob

Napa can get you one same day in many cases.:)

Change it every other year before you have one fail on you and break apart in your cooling system.

Re: VP impeller replacement

Thanks for the replies and tips! I had no idea NAPA carried parts for this engine. Is it advisable to change the thermostat at the same time? I'm not having any problems with cooling -- runs up to 180 and stays there all day - idling tp WOT pulling skiers. Thoughts / advice?
