VRO O-ring?

I took the fuel pump out to inspect due to some running issues and a small (maybe 1/4 inch) rubber o-ring fell out and I cannot find it in any of the parts diagrams. I believe it came from the side with the spring but I am unsure. Does anyone know where this o-ring is supposed to go? Not sure if it matters but the oil side has been disabled so I mix the gas 50:1.

You should be able to see the spot where it goes on the " air motor " side of the pump.

Please excuse my ignorance. Is this the side with the two springs? If so does it go in the small recess in the plastic cup where the small spring sits?

The airmotor side has the 2 springs.----No you should be able to see the spot where it goes around the outside of the housing.---It sits nicely in a pocket there between the 2 housings!

I believe you may be refering to the inch and 1/2 oring. This o-ring is 1/4 of an inch.

I have about a dozen of these VRO pumps apart.--I have repair kits for them on hand as well.--I believe it should be obvious where that o-ring goes.--I can not help you if you can not find the spot where it goes !!!

Ok then!!! If I knew the spot where it went I would not be asking. Sometimes when you are familiar with things something that seems so obvious is not to someone else.
