I have a 1987 evinrude 140 VRO that has been upgraded to the new VRO pump and oil tank. I have had a smoking problem and excessive oil use (25:1 or more). I have replaced all fuel lines from fuel tank to fuel pump. I have change filter and decarbed motor. Still it smokes bad and uses oil.
I noticed when i changed the filter which is about 4 inches back from fuel pump, it had a lot of oil mixed with fuel. It appears oil is flowing backward or somthing.
Any Ideas?
