Re: vro or mix my self?
All Fichts have a remote oil tant mounted somewhere in the boat. There will be two oil lines coming from it , one is 1/4"id, this is oil feed to the engine, and the other is 5/16" id , this is the oil return to the tank. Don't mix them up because one draws oil from the bottom of the tank and the other just dumps the extra oil back at the top. There is no VRO just a oil pump and a oil injector . The injector directs the oil via hoses into the crankcase after the reeds. You can't pre-mix fuel because the ficht system puts the fuel directly into the cylinder at the top of the head, not into the crankcase .If you didn't get one it sounds like they still got it. The hook-ups for the oil lines, throtle and shift ,fuel and the electrical all run through a hole on the starboard side of the lower cowl.
