If you truely have an old VRO I'd just opt to install an OMS pump. Much better alarm system and very reliable. There are some decent deals on them if you look for them. If you need help just let me know.
repair kits are available for 1998 and newer pumps, as they are designed for rebuilding. Some of the internal parts are different, but the older pumps still use the same diaphragms.
