My 1985 70 hp. that I converted to mixed fuel 4 years ago is giving variations in fuel presure readings. When at idle the pressure will drop to 0 for a few seconds then jump to 1.5-2.5lbs,then it will drop to 0 and repeat. At 2500 rpm I get 4-7lbs. variation.
I would like to do away with the VRO pump completly is there a non-VRO pump for this motor? By the way I did a rebuild on this pump 2 years ago and it held steady readings than. I did try different gas tank and check the gas line connections.
