When putting the boat up for the winter do you have to do anything to the oil in the VRO tank or will it stay good?

Re: vro

Personally I drain my VRO tank, and re-prime it at the start of the season. This way I can be sure I have had no water ingress during the winter.

Re: vro

I top my tank off, idea being to not leave room for moisture to form. Oil will be fine come spring...

Drain and replace. Jelled oil is still a concern. Why take a chance on the cost difference between a gallon of oil and a powerehead?

Good luck!
