Re: VRO2 Pump?
Hookedonjc the sound goes away after a few pumps of the bulb. But the bulb only stays firm for about 10 seconds. Then I hear the sound again as its loosing pressure. Its not the carbs because I blocked off the two gas lines going to the fuel rails and it does the exact same thing. Its somewhere on my fuel bracket. I am beginning to wonder if its something to do with the vapor separator or vapor pump.
I talked with two local boat mechanics and they said with this type system, the bulb will never stay firm. By priming the bulb all your doing is filling the carbs with gas and the fuel pump will take over and do the rest.
