I dont find this in the Suz manuals, dont have a yamaha manual,

its a Vapor Seperator Tank, VST. basically a small fuel cell to submerge a high pressure pump to insure a clean bubble/vapor free fuel supply to the high or medium pressure pump. some makers use it for return fuel and as a mixing chamber for the two stroke oil.
