WaddyaThink About the 140 Suzuki 4 Stroke??

I am seriously considering repowering my boat with a pair of Suzuki 140 4 Stroke engines. The boat is a 1980 Robalo 232. Currently has Johnson 115's that have just been freshened. I just want more HP as I have a pretty long run through the bay to the Gulf..<br />I would like to have any and all comments regarding these engines, good, bad or ugly.<br /><br />Thanks<br />

Ahoy, Wylie.<br /><br />Every report (by owners) I have read on the DF140, whether Suzi or Johnny, has been glowing with praise.<br /><br />If it is as good an engine as my Suzi DF70, it is a winner.<br /><br />Good luck.
