We put an offer in on a 1990 Carver 2767 and the waiting is killing my wife. She's one of those who gets excited about something long before it happens, and if it doesn't, she gets quite down. I seem to be able to look at this type of thing as just another transaction and if it goes great, and if it doesn't, oh well.

Actually the boat is quite nice and will most likely be our last. 27 feet and a 10 foot beam gives a lot of room. A floating and movable cottage.

I find the cure for that is not get hooked on any one boat/car/house/etc.
Look at lots and put bids on a few.
The low bids are the ones you want to go thru.

Just curious, were you planning on trailering the carver? I was looking for a cuddy or something like it and would like to trailer from lake to lake and camp out with the kids and was wondering what the biggest boat that can be trailered.

BTW good luck with the bid, You already know the 2 happiest days of a boat owner are. hope you get the first one.

Tom Petty sang a song like that dont know the exact words but it goes "something something the waiting is the hardest part something something" :)

They say Carver is one of the best out there, quite a few big ones in the local marina here.

To the guy asking about trailer. I have a 10? BY 35? Myacht House boat that I trailer alone the coast of Louisiana. I have a sports permit witch allows me to travel the coast but not the interstate.$10. a month which I get by the year. To get on the interstate you need a daily which is $10. /day through the DOT
