Well I eneded my season of riding with a bunch of loacal riders one of witch I met through Iboat and started his own wakeboard web site. anyway we gathered a bunch of guys up and went out along with a few video cameras. The attached link is the resault. It took about 3 weeks to get through the 4/5 hrs of video and edit it!

It was all on the Maumee river in NW ohio.

Awsome video! Had to watch it twice! Were you surfing behind the Centurion? Just wondering if it can be done behind an I/O.

Good deal guys, wish we got great boarding weather like that up here in NY.

I'm always fighting 1-2 foot waves and were not allowed to produce wakes on the rivers

It was a MasterCraft with a V drive. I would say surfing behind a IO is a bad idea, quick way to meet a prop!!!

I am asuming you are forced to use the big lake then, I go out on lake Erie every once and while, a bit shallower then Onterio and is super effected by the wind. I foiund early morn and late evenings work best.

No wakes on Rivers is a bumer

Re: Wakeboarding video

Thanks guys for the kind words, I hope to get some additional equipment and do a longer video with footage of borders on a bunch of differant places in Ohio next summer. Being on a tube and having riders jump over me was nuts, it worked ok but I will have to figure out a more stable way, its just to jerky and it takes away from the video quality when i have to digitaly stabelize it.

Re: Wakeboarding video

I can't say that I completely disagree with the no wake zones. I've seen 3 boathouses with damage from wakeboard wakes and know of 3 small islands we used to camp on 10 years ago that have seen their erosion rates sped up till they are going to be gone completely in a couple of years.
Don't get me wrong I'm not anti-wakeboard but I can easily see their point.

Nasty for sure! We always shut our motor down before getting in the water anyway. That photo just made it a must!

Yea I mis-spoke on the boat brand, the trailer said mastercraft:redface: not my boat so dont know much about it.

I used the Kodak playsport (http://store.kodak.ca/store/ekconsus/en_CA/pd/PLAYSPORT_Video_Camera/productID.169976100) Great camera for a great price, $200 for camera, two batteris, 8gb HDSD card, and a case. Got it from Best Buy oh and its water proof up to 10ft deep. It the same size as my Blackberry Bold.

The camera from the boat was just a JVC HD camera I think.
