Waketower on a small boat?

I love the looks of a boat with a tower and I am thinking of getting one for our boat. However, the boat we have is a 1984 16' bayliner Capri with a 1995 Yamaha 115hp. Do you think this boat is to small for a tower? Would it look out of place? Getting another boat really isn't an option right now and the boat is in really nice condition. So, what does everyone think?? We do alot of kneeboarding behind it now, some tubing and some wake boarding. Also how much do they weigh? Would that be an issue?

Other than liking the appearance, what is your goal?

The waight of the towers is all over the place depending on style.

I have seen a few of the 14-15' seadoo jetboats with towers.

As far as I know there is only one tower on the market that says you can pull a tude of of it.
I think those start around 2k.

The big air ice tower is fairly light and on the cheep side for a tower.

Thanks for the replies!! As far as a goal(besides the cool factor), all I have now to pull a skier, wakeboard, or kneeboard is a cleat on the back of the boat. The pull-line goes under wakes alot, and i would think a tower would make it easier to get up, but I guess I really dont know, never have tried behind a boat with a tower.

For a 16 footer you may want to look at the Monster Tower MTE. I just ordered the new MTK today for my 19'.

Seems like a pretty big outlay if you've never tried riding with one. Agree they do transform the look of a boat.
Need to be a bit careful with a lighter boat as it's a lot of leverage (on the boat) with the high tow point.
Not recommended to tube or ski from a tower.
