I picked up a '93 Johnson 200 that hasn't been run in years. It has 56 hours on the motor but has been sitting idle for I don't know how long. so I thought I would give it a try. I pulled the plugs and they were rusty and full of crap so I loaded up the cylinders with PB Blaster. I let it sit for 24 hours and tried to break it loose and unfortunately couldn't budge it. So I tilted the motor up and sprayed more PB Blaster in the cylinders, let it sit for another 24 hours and again, can't move it.

I saw in a video where a mechanic mixed 50% acetone with 50% transmission fluid and soaked the cylinders with that. I might give that a try next. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Remove lower unit incase that is seized up.----If it is still stuck then motor needs to come apart for inspection.-

I can shift it in and out of gear but can't begin to spin the flywheel.

the 50% acetone and 50% trans fluid is a recipe for homemade penetrating fluid. And is faily effective if you let it soak overnight.
if possible, I would start with a compresion test on the cyclinders. If not, then only proper thing to do is to do an overhaul/rebuild.

Update... I filled up the cylinders with that mixture and let it sit for about 4 days and still couldn't begin to budge it. I threw in the towel at that point and sold it for parts.
