I picked up a '93 Johnson 200 that hasn't been run in years. It has 56 hours on the motor but has been sitting idle for I don't know how long. so I thought I would give it a try. I pulled the plugs and they were rusty and full of crap so I loaded up the cylinders with PB Blaster. I let it sit for 24 hours and tried to break it loose and unfortunately couldn't budge it. So I tilted the motor up and sprayed more PB Blaster in the cylinders, let it sit for another 24 hours and again, can't move it.
I saw in a video where a mechanic mixed 50% acetone with 50% transmission fluid and soaked the cylinders with that. I might give that a try next. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
