I finally found some info on my fiber flite (1959). What is a walk thru lean back in front cockpit mean. I understand the walk thru but what is the lean back. and what type of air tank would have been under each seat? Thanks

Angled back to the seat, as apposed to just a bench with no back, or a straight back ??

Sealed tanks for floatation ??

Just guessing, but the air tank has to be flotation. I think the "lean back" business is saying the front seat backs recline to form lounge seats for sunning- sort of. Back to back lounges work a lot better.

there is a gap in the center of the bench seat to step thru- then sit & lean back--no clue about air tanks under seats.
