I had a leak in both side windows , water drained into the wall carpet , I sealed the leak , the water damage caused black mold in a small area . I have been washing with vinegar and water , letting it dry and rewashing again 2 times . should this wall carpet be cut out and be removed ? it is in a 2 foot long by a 1 foot wide area for both sides . where to purchase replacement wall carpet ?

Most boats use a marine carpet for places like that. Marine carpet fibers are some form of plastic, which doesn't stain easily and is pretty tough. They will normally hold up to gasoline and oil without damage.

I would try some hydrogen peroxide and see if it kills the mold. Use it on some obscure portion of the carpet until you see that it works and doesn't affect the carpet.

If that doesn't kill the mold, try some dilute bleach in the same manner.
