make sure you surface the head and thoroughly clean the block of all old gasket and corrosion. use a 3m pad on a drill. post a pic of the affected cylinder as well

do a search for the torques on this site and it will probably show up, but after someone reads this and posts the answer. I saw a post earlier for a 225 I believe but I know your engine specs are here somewhere. OBJ or Joe Reeves will be along shortly unless Rodbolt beats them both. These guys are tops.

On my 200 Evinrude it's 15-17ft/lbs on the head bolts. I don't have a cover, unless I'm not understanding what I'm seeing here.

Ok guys I’m closing this post, I want to thank you all (walleyehed , Walker, Steve Huminski, fireman57, rodbolt, dolluper , OBJ, RyanMcRae), for all your help and ideas, I’m glad to said that the motor ran extremely well today, I was cruising at 55 mph on the ocean, witch I think is about right for a 21footer Grady White Overnighter WA with 200hp. I’m very happy today. The solution of my situation was New Head and Cover gasket clean everything extremely well and I’m ready to go. Hope this can help some one on the future.
Thank you

18-20 ft-lbs on the 2.5 (cyl heads)or 215-240 in-lbs.
Re-torque after an hour or so of run time.
Cyl head cover screws; 2 sizes-3/16=35-40 in-lbs.
1/4=60-80 in-lbs. I think you have the 1/4" bolts, but measure to be sure.

Glad she's running good. Now you see how difficult it actually is to diagnose engine problems through cyber-space.

Glad to hear she is up and running eula. Don't forget to retorque the heads as posted by walleyehed. It is important.

Steve...if your Ocean Pro is a 60 degree engine, you won't have head covers.
