This is an interesting thread.
I discovered that you don't have to have an avatar for this to work....just hover your mouse over yours or anyone elses screen name. It will tell the number also Look at the bottom of your screen, you will see it.

point over your name in blue in the upper left corner of yer post. Then, look at what pops-up in the lowest left part of your screen when you do that. It is kind of "cryptic", but that number at the end is you. You are #93878.

That's true if you're using Internet Explorer. In Firefox, it only works on the avatar for some reason...

jimyoung: The avatar is the little picture next to peoples names/ranks. You can pick you own...
