I am the proud owner of a 2001 Monark King 160 SC, When the weather gets better I'd like to re-do some of the wiring. I wanted to know if anyone could help me and give me some info on how to remove the shelf panel on the drivers side of the boat? Here is a picture of the panel I need to remove;

A diagram or something that shows the steps to taking this off?

Thank you soooooo much!

A photo would help, that could be attached any of many ways. Screwed, riveted, snap-in, nailed, stapled, glued, held in by panels around it. You may have to remove other panels to get to it. There may be some type of conduit already there to hold factory wiring.

You may want to search on the manufacturer's forum in the blue listings on main menu. There may be a thread by someone who has done what you are trying to do with photos & step by step directions.

This being the resto forum, a sawzall and circular saw ...:p

I'm surprised you need wiring work, mine is still good from 1974.
Anything I replaced I tied to the old wire and pulled the new wire thru the rigging tunnel under the deck. Like rewiring an old house.
