There are bunch of stains on the desks and stuff on my 20 ft Bayliner Trophy Cuddy Cabin. Whats a really powerful solution to use to remove the stains and stuff without ruining the paint?

Any good marine hull cleaner than contains oxalic acid will do the trick! Bass Pro Shops, Cabellas and West Marine all sell one. I left my boat in the water for a week and found a nice brown line below the water that no amount of soap and water would remove. The hulll cleaner took it off with no effort. Just remember to wax after you do it.

We trailer our 1999 Ceira 2655 and after a weekend on certain bodies of water (the old Mississippi mostly), we get a scum line that is really difficult to impossible to remove. I have to get the buffer and compound out to remove it. Will the Marine Hull Cleaner do the job without harming the glossy finish of a gel coat on a non painted hull?

you mention paint--is the hull painted, or are you referring to the gelcoat's finish?

A boat restoration company here uses dish soap and chlorox; especially good for getting up the pine sap. The soap lifts the sap, dirt, etc and also folds the bleach in place for it to work.

And don't sell the powerwasher short, either.

The title says deck, (the OP says desks). Most of the suggestions are for the hull. Did I miss something?

I use toilet cleaner, (The Works), for a nasty hull before I wash and wax. I wouldn't use anything that harsh for the interior of the boat.

Soft-Scrub is about as harsh as I will go on the inside of the boat.

Soft Scrub is a champ at interior deck floors. Get the type with bleach added. Since it is an abrasive, it will take the shine off of any surface that your scrubbing with it, but that shouldn't matter on the non-skid of a boat sole.

Available at any grocery store, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, 7-11, etc.
