I would like to install a tach on my 1977 115 v4 johnson, what kind of tach do i need to use? Thanks

Check with your local BRP dlr. He'll have the specs for what tach you need.

There will be a gray wire inside your control box which is the tach feed. You "might" actually have a small plug in exposed on your control box . The tach wiring is very simple. It gets 3 wires....... positive, negative and gray wire. The only other item is to set the pole switch on the back of the tach to the proper setting.
