Re:

Are we still at war?

Yes and should be unless we want the entire Western World taken over by radicals that will eventually take over the U.S.

Are we still at war with no intent to win in the next couple of years and if not any idea when we will win?

There is no 'winning' only the ability to maintain strength and power.

Are we still at war and staying until it like gets over by itself?

As long as there are radicals that would like to blow the U.S. off the face of the earth, there will be war.

Is the war over and we are just hanging around now until things change from the last 3000 years in Iraq where the philosophy has always been kill the other dudes if you are in power?

I sincerely hope that you take the time someday to discuss this question with a soldier that is or has served the war on terrorism.

I seem to be lost, please give me some idea of our purpose and goals in Iraq.

Txwinner, things are not as simple or as black and white as we would like to see them. This is a complicated war which won't be over with anytime soon, probably not even in your lifetime.

Maybe it would be helpful if you stated your opposition to this war in detail for us rather than ask questions.

I guess those are the replacement mad faces. If so, and my attempt at some comic relief offended ,then I don't get it.Long drawn out explanations in opposition to brick walls being careful not to name call is not my style.

What were those parameters that dictated a troll again?
