Warning horn on '93 Evinrude 90

I have a 1993 Evinrude 90.<br />The warning horn does not come on when I turn the ignition on but works fine when I short the tan wire going to the temp. sensor.

Hello, Nino. Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you may have a corroded contact in your ignition switch, since it should chirp when you turn the key on. The simplest solution is to replace the switch.

I don't think it's the ignition swicth because when I turn the key all the accessories work.

Nino,<br /><br />Did it ever "chirp" before when the key was turned on?<br /><br />If not, it may not be equipped with the "prove out" style horn.<br /><br />I do know that you can swap the prove out style with the older no prove out.

The horn stopped chirpping at the end of last season.
