warning horn sound types

Hi I have a just got johnson 1986 vro 90hp,I know it has a warning horn for temp and low oil.<br />My question is: What are the different sound types for each warning? and is there only one horn?<br />thank karl

Hey Karl....Ok, since I got the same engine this is easy.... <br /><br />You already know the steady tone is overheat and the 1/2 sec tone every 20 seconds or so is low oil in the reservoir, the only other one you have is an urgent 1/2 sec tone every 1/2 sec which indicates no or restricted oil flow.<br /><br />That's it.
