was it made by skeeter

i have a 1963 skimster ,12'that i got from my brother. he bought it in 1966,used,and knows nothing about it .couldn't find the title but texas issued me a new title,with no prior info.i remember seeing a skeeter boat in the 60's that had the same type hull ,it's fiberglass.does anyone have any info on this boat, and is it kin to the skeeter?i tried to buy it for 40 yrs and he got tired of me asking,said come get it. i drove 400 miles to pick it up next day. any info,please!
